Because of the improper living conditions that communist housing units offer today, more and more people wish to insulate their apartments. When all the occupants of one apartment block manage to come up in time with the required amount of money to pay the same constructors, the entire building is renovated. But this does not happen very often. Renovations conducted individually or in small groups are more common. This gives a very painterly and poetic appearance to the city and I decided a while ago to archive as many images as I can, depicting this phenomenon.

What to do with this material remains to be decided.

For the moment, It is interesting for me to submit it to a wider opinion, as I see all these images as paradoxes. They express pursuits of people's personal happiness and individual progress as a reaction to a failing state, but also a lack of coordination between private space and collective space, or between aesthetic and social.
